Meet the Herd

Sharen
Sharen is the lead mare of the herd. She is devoted to her horses and loves sharing them with others through her work. Bringing her past experience in Metaphysics, Animal Communication, Psychic work, Animism and Shamanic Healing to her CEEL training with the horses has created a unique offering at WHB.

Baz
Baz was the horse who helped us prepare for the wild ones to arrive. He is a domestic born,16.1hh bay standardbred gelding. Gentle and very strong minded, he is the dominant horse of the herd. Some of Baz’s medicine is Grounding.

Inti
Inti was our first Brumby. He is a light chestnut gelding a with flaxen mane. A wild born brumby, he was passive trapped in Long Plain, northern end of KNP. His name means Sun God in Quechuan language (pronounced In – Tea). Some of Inti’s Medicine is heart.

Munay
Munay, bay gelding, wild born brumby, was also passive trapped in Long Plain, northern end of KNP. His full name is Munay Kikki and means ‘you are loved special one’ in Quechuan language (moon-eye key-key). Some of Munay’s medicine is friend.

Apu
Apu was passively trapped in the northern end of KNP, though not sure where exactly. He is a blue roan stallion. His name means Mountain God in Quechuan language (pronounced Ahh – poo). Some of Apu’s Medicine is Soul.

Nuna
Nuna was passively trapped in the northern end of KNP, though not sure where exactly. He is a red roan older stallion. His name means Spirit in Quechuan language (pronounced Noo – Nah). Some of Nuna’s Medicine is Spirit.

Chaska
Chaska was passively trapped in the northern end of KNP, though not sure where exactly. He is a bay roan colt, the youngest of the herd. His name means Star or Dawn in Quechuan language (pronounced Cah-Skar). Some of Chaska’s Medicine is Innocence.

To come
I feel, and have been told, that there is another horse coming to join us. Watch this space to find out
Our Journey
Wild Heart Brumbies started with a dream to rescue some Brumbies from the Snowy Mountains in northern KNP. After we homed our first horses, we soon noticed how different we, and people visiting, felt after spending time them. One of the Brumbies, Inti, began to visit me telepathically to tell me that we had to work with people. After looking into Equine Experiential learning/therapy, it was not until I found the right person and training that it felt right, and I signed up to become a qualified practitioner with CEEL. What I experienced in the course, including personal sessions, sold me completely on the value and effectiveness of this incredible modality. I particularly loved how the horses had free choice and were not ridden. This truly is Soul work.

Sanctuary
Wild Heart brumbies is located on a volcanic plain near Colac, Victoria. It’s secluded and quite magikal. There is lots of Dragon energy around, which makes sense as horses are also known as Earth Dragons. The land here is wild, which suits the Brumbies; they can look out for miles, hide in the valleys and trim their hooves on the rocks. We are self-funded and never take donations unless it is in exchange for services.
If you would like to support us, please support the Brumby cause, follow/like us on social media, read our Blog, and if you can come for a visit, have a session or join a group.
Brumbies Plight
Australia’s wild horses need our help. The Snowy Mountain Brumbies in the Kosciuszko N.P. are being cruelly shot. They are not the only ones. Contact us for more information on how you can help these iconic symbols of truth, beauty and freedom.
